I don\'t think I ever fully experienced the color orange before seeing this pot!
This is a terracotta pot handmade and signed by Aboriginal artist John Rotumah, painted in the colors of an Australian desert sunset. A goanna lizard--John\'s ancestral totem--is laying tracks around the body, framed by traditional dot painting and the deep matte black of encroaching nightfall.
It is in excellent condition, unmarred but for a very tiny fleabite on the rim, with no cracks.
