Startling Comics #25 - CGC 2.5 - off-white to white pages

I know, I know... another super rare comic book, but it\'s true. 1944 WWII propaganda cover featuring Pyroman stopping Japanese soldiers from poisoning the water supply. Classic Alex Schomberg cover.

The issue features a classic World War II propaganda cover that has made it a sought-after piece for Golden Age collectors. The artwork spotlights the superheroPyromanfighting off Japanese Army saboteurs. In the scene, the saboteurs are attempting to poison an American city\'s water supply and execute its armed guards before Pyroman intervenes. The story inside even incorporates a depiction of Emperor Hirohito, reflecting the intense wartime culture of 1944.
