ADVISE TO PET OWNERS:
If you purchase these natural fossil wood pieces and plan to introduce them to your pets living area or habitat…please do your due diligence ~ if you are “unsure” if it is safe to do so. ~ Consult with a veterinarian or a pet expert. Sometimes, there may be steps to follow…a particular process or procedure to perform before introducing these, or any unfamiliar item into a pets controlled living area. After all…these natural formed fossils are composed of many different types of minerals. Some minerals could change the environment of certain habitats…especially water environments- a top concern due to possible mineral leaching that may disturb /change the delicate balance of certain water dwelling pet animals.
I do not clean or introduce any chemicals, what so ever to these natural collected rocks. I only clean with fresh well water and a brush, to remove loose dirt and debris, so they are in the natural state in which they were found. I HONESTLY~ do not believe these fossil wood pieces are harmful in any way to animals…
My advise comes from my heart…and my love of animals- it would break my heart to know i sold something that, inadvertently harmed an animal/pet ~ without advising pet owners to make responsible, informed decisions, before placing any unfamiliar items in your pets living area.
Better safe than sorry…
Thanks for looking and considering these awesome, nature created, pieces of Texas’ ancient geological history!
