SDS DARE TO STRUGGLE DARE TO WIN ANTI-WAR CIVIL RIGHTS 60S CAUSE PINBACK BUTTON For Sale

"DARE TO STRUGGLE – DARE TO WIN"

This approximately 1¾-inch pinback was produced by American Badge Co., Chicago, Illinois, with the manufacturer's name stamped around the edge. The slogan became one of the best-known rallying cries associated with the Students for a Democratic Society and other New Left activist movements during the late 1960s.

Features include:

• Original vintage SDS pinback
• Yellow background with bold black lettering
• "SDS" printed at lower right
• Edge marked American Badge Co. Chicago, Ill.
• Original working pinback
• Approximately 1¾ inches in diameter

An increasingly difficult political protest button to locate, especially with the original American Badge Company edge marking. An excellent addition to collections of SDS, Vietnam War protest, New Left, civil rights, political campaign, or 1960s Americana memorabilia.
