Real Moon Moth Shadow Box 18x14 Antique Bubble Glass Oval Frame Signed Art 1of1 For Sale

One of a kind handmade shadow box diorama by Erika Olson of Gypsy Ginger Art. Signed and dated 2026 on the backing. This is an original artist piece, not a production item, and there is only one.

Measures 18 inches tall by 14 inches wide at the outside of the frame.

A real preserved moon moth is mounted mid flight above a raw quartz crystal, set into a moonlit forest scene built from preserved fern, sheet moss and reindeer moss, dried lavender, tiny dried blooms, pinecone roses and sculpted mushrooms. A glowing blue opalite moon sits in the upper right against a deep midnight background. Housed in a vintage style gold oval frame with cast bow and floral ornament, antique convex bubble glass, sealed kraft backing, and hanging wire already installed.

What I verified: the artist signature and date on the reverse, the Gypsy Ginger Art maker label, the intact hanging wire, and that the glass and frame are sound with only light age wear consistent with the frame style. I have not disassembled the piece to inspect behind the backing.

Because of the curved bubble glass and the fragility of an antique frame, this ships flat and double boxed with a raised collar so nothing rests against the glass face. Insured for full value. Local pickup available in southeastern Massachusetts if you would rather not risk transit.

Perfect for dark academia, cottagecore, fairycore, witchy and naturalist collectors, gothic, or anyone who keeps a cabinet of curiosities.
