This is one of those vintage finds that stopped me in my tracks! The old clockmaker-shop design, wonderful red, black and gold finish, chains, scrollwork and aged character make this Sexton wall clock an especially striking piece.

• Vintage Sexton Metalcraft Clockmaker wall clock, No. 1513.

• Marked on the reverse “SEXTON 1967 USA” with faint “DEC” above (December?) and a boxed B mark.

• Wonderful dimensional cast-metal construction with raised 1801 crest, CLOCKMAKER lettering, decorative chains and ornate black metal-style detailing.

• New USA-made Takane battery-operated quartz movement installed September 2026 along with new black hands.

• Movement has been tested and is working. Hands were manually tested through a complete 12-hour rotation to ensure proper clearance.

• Approximately 18½” overall height from the top of the black hanger to the bottom of the clock.

• Approximately 13” wide across the top hanger.

• Clock body is approximately 10¼” wide.

• Clock face projects approximately 1½”.

• Fabulous late-1960s Americana / old-world clockmaker-shop look with loads of decorative character.

Condition

Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, patina, scratches, finish variation and other signs of use visible in the photographs. These characteristics are part of its wonderfully aged appearance. Please review all photographs carefully.

The original clock movement has been replaced with a new Takane quartz movement in September 2026 for reliable everyday use.
