Beautiful Antique Floor Lamp
Gorgeous RESTORED condition!Working well, freshly updated wiring, and ready to use and enjoy.
An original antique piece from the 1900s to 1920s by the Mosaic Shade Co, also often referred to as Chicago Mosaic Lamp Co. They were in business circa 1905 to the 1920's.It has a nice weight to it, so it can be used with a stained glass or slag glass shade, as well as a lovely fabric shade.
The brass has been polished while leaving some of the patina to bring out the detailed areas on the base.The painted finish has been refreshed and is a beautiful antique bronzy-gold color with black dry-brushed in the crevices to show the ornate details in the poles and on the figural center feature.No cracks or dents in the brass.
There are 4 pieces of stunning marble or agate stone.No chips or cracks in the large sphere.The base pieces have little flea bites and a small chip, and the rectangle has a repaired crack, turned to the back (see closeups).
The socket has been cleaned inside & out, freshly rewired, tested and is working great.Use 1 standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light (bulb not included).~For your planning purposes, requires a signature for shipments of this value~You can also pick it up at our office in Lebanon, VA
