Offered is an exceptionally scarce, original City of Los Angeles Department of Fire porcelain enamel identification plate, formerly used on LAFD apparatus.Constructed of heavy-gauge metal with a red porcelain enamel finish and bold white lettering reading “DEPT. OF FIRE – CITY OF LOS ANGELES.”This is an authentic vintage example, not a modern reproduction. The plate retains its original appearance, with minor surface wear, edge imperfections, and age-related patina consistent with historical service.The original numbered identification tag is missing, leaving the two factory mounting holes visible near the upper left corner.Condition: Excellent overall vintage presentation.
