RARE '20s Tiffin 331 Milady Canary Uranium Glass Lipstick/Rouge Puff Box Insert For Sale

ITEM:Offered for your consideration and purchase is this near perfect Lipstick & Rouge Insert for the Tiffin Glass Co. 1920's/30's #8851 Dresser Set in the very desirable Canary Yellow (a/k/a Uranium or Vaseline) color. The pictures showing the item in green were, of course, taken under the influence of a black light. This little dish was designed to sit just inside the powder box which was molded on the tray and on which then the lid would have been placed. It was a special accessory piece to the 8851 dresser set which normally only came with the tray (to which was molded the puff box base) plus a lid for the box and a pair of perfumes with stoppers. Our last two pictures show (as an example only) how the insert would sit on the puff box base. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE INSERT ONLY - the other parts of the dresser set are NOT available in this listing (all of the pieces shown in our last two pictures, other than the insert, have some 'issues' and will be offered later and separately from this listing). The Milady vanity set is rather scarce and desirable; and even more so in the yellow color. In addition, this insert is actually a quite RARE accessorial piece and so it is being offered as a probable addition to your already-acquired and otherwise complete vanity set. This item is also virtually flawless and there are absolutely no chips, nicks, fleabites or other such issues to the lipstick and rouge divider walls. There is one edge nick at the top outer edge (perhaps 1/10 or less of a pinhead size; maybe a pixel or two.....) and some slight roughness at one point on the underside outer rim (we tried to show this in a picture but there's really not enough roughness to photo - it can't be seen with the naked eye and can only be known by feel). Borrowing from the famous Ivory Soap trademark, we present this piece as 99 & 44/100% perfect. A better example may never come your way........
