Made before 1994, Marto agreed to provide the steel for M9 knives,All originally made by Buck, the 9010 MFK Modular Field Knife.

Phrobis was out of buis in 1991.

Made by Marto spain,Phrobis Int, excellent stainless blade removed from sheath minimal

Handle unscrews, can be made into CUK Combat utility knife, or M9 Handle+ parts interchangeable

Sheath was made by phrobis in usa, swivel lock, you push the back for release, nice compact sysyem.

Navy seals eventually dismissed this design due to the stainless tang in the CUK ( about 500 knives purchased)
