Up for sale is a historic matching pair of vintage 1935 glass plate press copy negatives from the Lindbergh Kidnapping "Trial of the Century" in Flemington, New Jersey, showing Anne Morrow Lindbergh on the witness stand and Charles Lindbergh arriving under armed police guard.

Authentic set of two 4x5 vintage glass press copy negatives capturing the 1935 Bruno Richard Hauptmann trial.
Negative 1 features a clear courtroom interior of Anne Morrow Lindbergh seated and testifying from the witness stand.
Negative 2 captures Charles Lindbergh arriving outside the stone courthouse flanked by New Jersey state police and armed sharpshooters at the windows.
Authentic period press room copy negatives produced for newspaper darkroom production and syndication during the historic trial.
Comes with the original handwritten news archive envelope inscribed: "Lindbergh arriving in Flemington NJ / Jan 1935 / police / sharpshooters(?) / (Kidnapping Trial?)".

Condition

Very Good Vintage Condition. Both glass plates are structurally intact with no cracks or chips across the glass. The emulsion layers show sharp focus, rich contrast, and clear detail on both subjects. Normal vintage darkroom border lines and minor edge handling wear consistent with working press file negatives. Original handwritten paper envelope included.

The glass plate negative measures 4 x 5In.
