$119.00

The June 6, 1944 issue of the Pontiac (Illinois) Daily Leader with a giant INVADE FRANCE headline with Invasion Flashes, a photo of Montgomery, "Pontiac to Pray Tonight for Men in Invasion Army," and more below. Inside, we find more war-related content, including editorial cartoon and a photo of a WAC in action. This is a full newspaper with 6 pages, each about 17" x 22".
Good condition as shown. Toned from age overall. Small tears at the folds. The paper is not brittle but still needs some care when being handled as it is 80 year old newsprint.
