Publisher: Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs (CIAA), Washington D.C.

Circa: 1942–1945

Up for sale is an authentic, original World War II-era double-sided foldout pictorial propaganda map. This historic piece was designed by renowned illustrator Antonio Petruccelli to highlight the massive geo-economic contributions of Latin American nations to the Allied war effort.

Map Details & Content:

• Front Side: Features the vibrant, highly stylized iconic artwork titled \"Resources of the Americas for War and Peace\" with the powerful subtitle: \"Products of 20 Republics Help to Defeat the Axis.\"

• Reverse Side: Features the full geopolitical regional layout titled \"Resources for Victory\" focusing closely on Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, regional shipping lanes, and strategic raw materials crucial to hemisphere defense.

Condition Report (Please Review Photos Carefully):

This map is in Good to Very Good vintage condition with the following characteristics noted for transparency:

• Fold Separation: There is a clean tear/separation right at the central intersection of the main vertical and horizontal fold lines (common for these fragile government-issued field papers).

• General Wear: Minor wrinkling along the edges and light paper thinning along original crease lines.

• No harsh stains, no handwriting/ink marks, and NO tape repairs have been attempted, preserving its original paper integrity.

Shipping & Handling:

To ensure this historic piece arrives exactly as pictured without worsening any fold separation, the map will be carefully placed in a protective sleeve and shipped completely flat, sandwiched securely between two heavy sheets of thick cross-grained corrugated cardboard.

Perfect addition for WWII ephemera collectors, military historians, or vintage poster enthusiasts looking for a great framing candidate!
