CONDITIONText block/boards: Very Good. Tan cloth boards clean and square, spine lettering crisp, hinges tight, no writing or markings inside apart from the signature. Pages clean and bright with no foxing noted.Dust jacket: Fair to Good, and the weak point of this copy. Spine ends chipped and torn with loss, vertical cracking and stress lines running down the spine panel, corner and edge wear throughout, light soiling to the front flap. Jacket is complete (front, spine, rear, both flaps) but shows real handling wear, not just shelf wear.Signature: Genuine ink autograph, "Lowell Thomas," in green marker/pen on the front free endpaper. Clean and unsmudged, no accompanying inscription or date.Overall: A well-preserved book inside a well-loved jacket. Honest description leads with the jacket condition; buyers focused on the signature and text block will still be pleased.
