Large Antique Tramp Art Frame, 30\" x 23\" Milk Glass Buttons Hand-Carved Folk Art For Sale

This large hand-carved tramp art frame is made of layered, chip-carved notched wood, with carved rosettes at each corner and milk glass buttons in brass beaded settings. It\'s a true folk art piece, probably early 20th century (circa 1890-1930), and each strip carries its own carving.
The frame holds an original vintage print titled \"The Last Load,\" showing haymakers loading a horse-drawn wagon beneath a stand of trees. The print is dated 1909 and credited \"Alex. Young.\" It\'s marked \"Copyright C.W. Faulkner & Co. Ltd., London, E.C.\" The signature and date are printed, so it\'s a publisher\'s reproduction, not a hand-signed original.
Size: 30\" x 23\" overall.
Condition: Good antique condition with honest age. The print is toned, the old paper backing is torn and peeling, and there are a few small nicks and cracks at the frame tips. The frame is sturdy, glass is in place, and a wire with a ring is attached for hanging. Please see all photos.
