The Art of J Carlton & Dominique Gault:For decades, the Gault studio has been world-renowned for capturing the romantic charm and intricate facades of European landmarks. Unlike mass-produced souvenirs, authentic J Carlton miniatures are celebrated for their detailed architectural rendering and meticulous hand-finishing, making them highly sought-after by collectors of fine decorative miniatures and French memorabilia.

About the Piece & Craftsmanship:This specific piece immortalizes Paris’s famous Place de la Concorde, showcasing the iconic classical colonnaded buildings and the grand architectural layout in a stunning low-relief diorama mounted on a clean white base.

• The Production Process: These miniature sculptures are cast using specialized French resin and ceramic composite blends designed to hold ultra-fine structural details. Because of the multi-stage manual casting and cold-finishing process used by the Gault studio, pieces of this era often feature slight, natural mold softening or minor production irregularities along the corner edges—a hallmark of authentic, handmade artisan production rather than damage.

• Condition: Brand new "New Other" condition, still securely stored inside its crisp, original factory box with its original protective wrapping intact.

Condition Note: Features minor natural casting/molding softening along the edge corners typical of these handmade French resin pieces, but is completely free of any chips, cracks, or structural damage.
