This listing is for a Vintage Mid 20th Century (1940-1939) 2 Piece Set of Marble & Gold Bookends with one measuring approximately 6" x 4 1/4" x 2" and the other at 5 1/4" x 4" x 2" and were in manufacture during the 1960s. Crafted by J.C. Walsh & Sons Ltd. at the Dublin Workshop in Ireland, this RARE Connemara Marble (know as Ireland's Gemstone) Bookend Set has an Attached Piece of Gold along with an Inlaid Gold Stripe that can only be properly described through pictures! Ready, willing and definitely able, these bookends lie in wait to hold up straight your most treasured books. The condition of this set is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with NO cracks, crazing, fading or any other visual imperfections.
