Iridescent Pyrite with Quartz — Indonesia

This elongated specimen has a beautiful natural composition, pairing brightly reflective pyrite with a forest of clear to milky quartz. Two prominent quartz crystals rise dramatically from one end of the matrix, creating height and a strong focal point above the smaller crystalline growth.

Clusters of sharply formed pyrite are distributed across the specimen, with metallic faces flashing gold, bronze, green, blue, and subtle pink in changing light. Larger geometric crystals are surrounded by smaller pyrite formations, adding texture and sparkle throughout the piece.

The narrow plate-like matrix gives this specimen a distinctive profile. From the side, the taller quartz points stand above a ridge of pyrite and fine quartz; from above, additional metallic crystals and delicate clear points become visible across the surface.
