We have many listings available that are for a mystery doll. On each of those listings I provide several different grouped pictures of many of the dolls to give a would-be buyer an idea of the type of doll they may receive.
Ever since I took the group picture (which is show above in the picture gallery) of this doll, of Monique, alongside other dolls, I've gotten probably 100 or more individual inquiries about her specifically.
In all of my listings I mention that several items will receive their own listing. Be that because their value far exceeds the asking price on a mystery doll, or, because they are some combination of intense, fascinating, powerful to a degree that they simply deserve their own listing. She meets all of those criteria and more.
Monique is an unusual spirit in a lot of ways, and, in equally as many ways a very common spirit. She can be fierce, she can be jarringly active at time, stoic and quiet others. She seeks a keeper that will keep her safe, love her, protect her, and make her a part of their lives.
Like most spirits who inhabit a physical vessel, which is very often a doll or figurine, Monique left her physical body in this world in 1991, living in Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. She, 17 years old at the time, was deeply in love with a young man. They were set to be wed on a brisk, cool Autumn afternoon in Whitley Bay.
Her groom, family, and friends waited for her. At first, she was just probably running a bit late, then concerns grew. Maybe it was car trouble that was holding her up from the day she'd been looking forward to her entire life. As concern grew amongst those at the wedding site, and as phone calls were being made (keep in mind this was 1991. The options were landlines and payphones only) 2 vehicles pulled into the driveway area where the vows were to be exchanged. Officials stepped out, and quietly informed Monique's fiancée, her parents that she had been involved in a serious motor vehicle accident and was transported to a nearby hospital.
None of them ever laid eyes on Monique again. Her body was so mangled by the accident that she was unrecognizable. What was meant to be the happiest day of her life became the last day of her life.
Refusing to "move on" as they say in the spirit world, she attached herself to this stunning doll, a piece that sat in a London fine arts shop with a robust price tag of 300 Euro dangling from her arm.
Once Monique inhabited the doll the shop owners and employees removed her from the sales floor within days. She was often heard crying, even "wailing" as one person claimed. The head and hands of the doll would shake lightly, but noticeably. She would move herself into different positions, throw herself onto the floor, and cause electrical disturbances that created issues for the shop.
The doll has been in the possession of a friend since 1996, after she acquired it from the original owner. I've taken possession of her recently. Frankly she wasn't supposed to be in any of the multiple doll images, but my Coven Sister took the picture, and I decided to use it, which I suppose was a blessing in disguise considering the massive amount of attention and interest she's generated.
She's a high level and active vessel. I don't recommend purchasing if you have "thin skin" or are inexperienced with these types of spirits.
As you can probably see in the provided images, she's a very, very high-end piece. She stands 28" tall and is 26" wide at the base of her dress. She doesn't have traditional doll legs, nor is she on a cheap pedestal. She has what most would call an "umbrella" bottom, it's a display piece, and this is common amongst these high-end pieces from that specific ear. It's designed to make her dress stay flowing and beautiful.A Little About Myself
