Incolay Studios”Hector&Andromache”Collector Plate-Limited Edition#0169A-1988:
$29.99

This is a limited-edition collector’s plate titled “Hector and Andromache,” hand-crafted by Incolay Studios of California and sculpted by Alan Brunettin.

It was issued in 1988 as the third plate in the “The Fall of Troy” series, inspired by Homer’s Iliad. Each plate in this series was individually numbered and handcrafted from Incolay’s signature black onyx cameo stone, giving it a marble-like appearance with white relief detailing.

This plate depicts Hector offerding farewell to Andromache and their infant son Astyanax, one of the most emotional scenes from The Iliad. The craftsmanship emphasizes the high-relief sculptural style for which Incolay Studios was well known.
