Impossibly rare Whitman sealed 3-pack Xmen 129, Avengers 196, 2 key issues in 1:

This pre-pack came out in 1980 and contains two super key issues in the same sealed bag:
Avengers # 196 (first appearance Taskmaster)Xmen #129 (first appearance White Queen and Kitty Pryde, first Hellfire Club, beginning of Dark Phoenix saga)
(the third issue is Micronauts #17)
This is the "super heroes" $1.09 style bag that came out in the early 1980s.
I have been looking for Whitman pre-packs for twenty years and have never seen any evidence, photo or otherwise, of another one like it existing, so this was either a very rare combo or a one-off "error" combo.
The bag is in great shape, no cuts or scratches, the blue, light blue, and white colors at the top part are still nice and bright.
Xmen #129 looks to be in NM, the only flaw I can see is a tiny stress mark on the upper part of the spine, right next to Nightcrawler's face (pictured).
Avengers #196 has two issues. One is light spine stresses around the middle of the issue, right above the Taskmaster's blurb (pictured) --Xmen #129 does not have any such problem, so my guess is those were created before #196 was packed. The other one is that the front cover has a faint imprint of the back cover (e.g., towards the bottom, the mirror image of the words "THE ONLY STAR TREK KITS IN THE UNIVERSE" can be seen) --what probably happened is that, before the issue was packed, it was stacked along with other copies of the same issue and the issue on top of the issue that is now in the bag left its back cover imprint.
I cannot tell much about the condition of Micronauts #17, but it looks to be in great shape.
