Guido Cacciapuoti Italy Large 22” Porcelain Two Ladies Reading Figurine For Sale

Beautiful large vintage Italian porcelain figural group featuring two elegantly dressed women seated together reading sheet music. This is an impressive statement piece measuring approximately 22” long × 12” deep × 10” high.

The figures are beautifully detailed with hand-painted floral gowns in pink, purple, blue and green, accented with extensive gold gilt decoration. The elaborate Rococo-style base and intricate detailing make this an especially striking display piece.

The underside is impressed “MADE IN ITALY” and numbered 1093. There is a script signature on the front that I believe reads “G. Cacciapuoti,” possibly for Guido Cacciapuoti. Please review the close-up photographs of the signature and markings and make your own determination regarding attribution.

Condition: This is a vintage piece with condition issues consistent with age and previous use. There are chips/damage to the hair/head areas of both women, along with areas of gilt loss and surface wear. The underside/base also shows cracking and evidence of an older repair. All known damage has been photographed, so please carefully review all photos for the most accurate representation of condition.

Despite the condition issues, this is a large, highly decorative and impressive Italian porcelain group that displays beautifully.

Measurements: Approximately 22” L × 12” D × 10” H.

Due to the size, weight and delicate nature of the porcelain, the piece will be packed with exceptional care for shipping.
