Genuine 1943 Excelsior Welbike MK 2 VilliersUp for grabs , my 1943 Excelsior Welbike.I have had this for around 15 years slowly doing restoration work and gathering new items to complete it.It was brought home from England right after the Second world war , spent many years in Wisconsin before I acquired it in 2012.I have come upon some health issues and need to sell, much to my dismay.I have about 95 % of everything to complete the restoration .All parts are either NOS , original or Purchased from Welbike U.K. Limited.Included with it is an original drop tube parachute !Items included in Sale :All parts are either new or have been bead blasted and restored.Original Welbike frame #3088 , c5153788 WD # , original seat , handlebars and steering assembly have been rebuilt by Welbike UK.New handlebar grips and throttle/clutch cables, new seat cover. Quick release pins for seat and handlebars ( one is original), footpegs, complete original exhaust.Original wheels, broken spokes replaced, rear gear replaced with new, wheels have been trued and run straight. New ball bearings installed.One original Dunlop Carrier tire and Tube, New tires and tubes ( not original type but close )Original Villiers Engine, (numbers matching) , rebuilt, new bearings, seals , piston, rings , con rod , new clutches, Original brass flywheel,new flywheel cover, new points and coil, new Loge pink spark plug and coil wire/ plug end. All machine work done by Villiers in Norfolk ( original supplier of all rebuild parts ) Bronze clutch lever, new rear brake, new rear fender ,New tanks From Welbike Uk , original Ewarts fuel valve , Rebuilt Fuel pump, new transfer lines, and sealsOriginal bronze IntakeI have all the hard to find nuts and bolts studs , gaskets , Villiers manual ,WD manuals etc. Tank lettering stencils, Excelsior neck decals, correct oil for crank case,( in reproduction Castrol cans ) Airborne flag , and quite a few mementos of Welbikes, ( stamps, a model, photos etc)Included are Wentworth and BSC wrenches ,tap and die set, and Villiers Hammer wrench for flywheel.If you have questions please ask !
