GUERRERITO (ENRIQUETA GUERRERO) : SPANISH DANCER AND ACTRESS : SISTER OF ROSARIO For Sale

This vintage real photo postcard features a dancer known as Guerrerito. Her actual name was Enriqueta Guerrero. She performed in London in the early 1900\'s.Enriqueta was not as well known as her sister, Rosario Fernandez Guerrero (1880-1960\'s).Sometimes Enriqueta was referred to as \"The Little Guerrero\". Rosario was a Spanish dancer and pantomimist who had an international career. She was frequently associated with the role of \"Carmen\". Rosario was considered to be very beautiful and she posed for a series of portraits by German artist Friedrich August von Kaulbach. I wonder how Enriqueta felt about being in the shadow of her sister Rosario. This vintage postcard was published in Paris. Note that the caption \"Folies Bergere\" is in the upper right corner of the image. The Folies Bergere was a famous cabaret music hall established in Paris in 1869. This postcard is in good condition (see scans).
