Feltman Langer vintage 80s Postmodern Memphis Peter Shire Coffee Mug Pop Art Cup For Sale

absolutely fabulous pair of abstract, memphis group movement coffee mugs, from 1988.Designed by Peter Shire for Feltman Langer, though the brand stickers that would have originally been stuck to the sides were removed.one is a steely blue with a blush pink handle, the other is the same blush pink, but with a seafoam green handle.they're handmade, and the blue one is sliiiightly larger than the pink one.
in fair condition, they've clearly been used and loved.blue one has scratches/crazing at one corner's edge.pink one's handle was glued back on at some point.both have a little dirt in the unglazed porcelain at bottom edges. i have not tried to clean them, past the usual dish soap and sponge.
rather small, i think they each hold about 1 cup/8 ounces. modern mugs usually hold 12 or 16 ounces.
