This Iowa Keokuk geode is a collection release, one of the best having a (nearly 1/4\") chalcopyrite crystal dotted with malachite crystals inside. It sits on a clear over brown calcite crystal lined geode from the location that has the best chalcopyrite crystals in Keokuk geodes. A large clear calcite \"pagoda\" crystal group also sits in the same half. The other half was repaired, but is also lined with brilliant calcite crystals and there is a small sphalerite crystal in its center that has some smithsonite crusts on it as well. This multi-mineral, absolute beauty displays well. It was found in Lee County, Iowa. I\'ve included a couple microscope photos to really zoom in on the malachite on the chalcopyrite.
