Eddie Lee Signed Soapstone Bear Sculpture Antler Fish Carving NW Art (26098) For Sale

This Authentic Hand-Carved Eddie Lee Soapstone "Hungry Bear" Wildlife Sculpture is a stunning, authentic sculpture by the celebrated Seattle-based master sculptor Eddie Lee. Known for his elegant and fluid Northwest wildlife art, this piece beautifully showcases his signature minimalist aesthetic and mastery of natural materials. The Sculpture features a stylized walking bear meticulously shaped from multi-toned, earthy soapstone. The stone features gorgeous natural marbling with hues of tan, cream, and soft grey-green. Held tightly in the bear's mouth is a flat, straight salmon hand-shaped from authentic, natural antler. The raw texture of the antler contrasts beautifully with the highly polished stone. This original artwork is hand-signed on the bottom paw pad with Eddie Lee's distinctive cursive ink insignia ("EL" with a lower dot flourish).
