What does “Aura” mean?
“Aura” refers to a crystal that has been given a thin metallic coating, typically through a specialized vapor-deposition process. This coating creates the beautiful iridescent, rainbow, or metallic colors seen on the surface. The underlying stone is still sphalerite; the colorful aura effect is an added treatment and is not the natural color of the sphalerite.
This is a particularly eye-catching tower with tons of sparkle and color. It would make a beautiful addition to a crystal collection or a gorgeous display piece.
Please look carefully at all photos, as they are part of the description. Natural stones may contain variations, inclusions, small imperfections, or surface characteristics consistent with their formation and/or treatment.
