Denver Pyle Signed Vintage Photo Mad Jack Grizzly Adams Personalized Autograph For Sale

Description

Original vintage black-and-white photograph personally hand-signed and inscribed by actor Denver Pyle, best remembered as Uncle Jesse Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard and Mad Jack on The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams.

The handwritten inscription appears to read:

“To Friend Harry!
We’ve come a long road.
Much Love.
Denver Pyle
‘Mad Jack’”

This is an especially appealing Denver Pyle autograph because he identified himself as “Mad Jack,” his memorable mountain-man character from The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. Pyle portrayed Mad Jack in the 1977–1978 television series.

The dark blue/black felt-tip inscription and signature are written directly on the photograph. Close examination shows natural ink flow, pressure variation, surface reflection, and pooling consistent with an original hand-applied autograph rather than a printed facsimile.

The photograph is personalized to “Harry.” It came from an older collection containing entertainment and historical material. No certificate of authenticity is included, and the autograph has not been submitted to JSA, PSA/DNA, or Beckett. It is being offered as found and photographed.
