This recent estate find is a VINTAGE CUSTOM SCROLL-WORK FIXED BLADE HUNTING/SKINNER KNIFE with Full Tang POLISHED PREMIUM WOOD HANDLE plus Original Sheath - see details below:

Marked ASHBY (Doug Ashby) DALLAS on the blade
Drop Point/Skinner Blade
Beautiful Polished Premium Wood Handle (possibly Rosewood)
Engraved Design on Bolsters
Lanyard Hole
Full Tang
Measures appx. 4" blade and 8.75" total length (Sheath - 9.5"L)
Leather Sheath has "SIMON" (possibly sheath maker) carved into the backside (Ashby is handwritten in black ink on the back)
Knife is in Excellent near mint condition and does not appear to have been used with only minimal age/storage wear
