DISNEYLAND CAST MEMBER FRONTIERLAND SHERIFF BADGE PROP MEXICAN FEDERALE:
$79.99

This is a very cool sheriff badge from Disneyland\'s Frontierland. This was used by a cast member. While it\'s a similar style to some of the souvenir badges this one says federale. An homage to a Mexican lawman.

I believe this is from the late \'80s or early 1990s. However, it could be older. There are still areas including restaurants that maintain the Mexican theme. Back in the 50s and 60s there was actually a themed area at Disneyland that was just dedicated to Mexico. It was called the Mexican village. Now there are a few restaurants and a few nods to the old Mexican village.

The badge is made of metal and it is an excellent condition. This is the same type of badge that was sold as a souvenir, however this particular badge was used by a cast member. It certainly not uncommon to use available items for employees. It was obviously much simpler.

So again these are the same type of badges that were sold but this one was specially printed for the cast member. These style badges are no longer sold or used in the park.
