Vintage Cream City 2 1/2 Gallon Gasoline Can – Geuder, Paeschke & Frey – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Offered for sale is a vintage Cream City 2 1/2 gallon metal gasoline can featuring its original red paint, distinctive Cream City advertising logo, and illustrated instruction panels.

Manufactured by Geuder, Paeschke & Frey of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this old gasoline can is a great piece of American automotive, farming, and service station history.

The can features a flexible metal pouring spout, carrying handle, and a self-contained measuring cup assembly. The original advertising panels illustrate the many uses for this can, including automobiles, lawn mowers, garden tractors, and camp stoves.

Condition:

This can is in vintage, as-found condition with substantial wear consistent with age and use. There is extensive surface rust, oxidation, scratches, paint loss, discoloration, and general weathering throughout.

The original Cream City advertising remains prominently visible on the front, while the illustrated instruction panels on the back show age-related wear and fading.

The bottom exhibits significant surface rust with some embossed markings still visible.

The can has not been tested for leaks or functionality. It is being sold strictly as a collectible or decorative display piece and is not intended for storing or dispensing gasoline.
