Here is a Rarely Seen, Original, Antique 18th. Century “Coin-Silver” Table-Spoon Utensil as Acquired at a New England Estate-Selling-Venue.
The “Single - One-Spoon” Measures. Approximately 5” Long, The Extremely Crude and Early Spoon is Clearly Hand-Tool Formed and Features “In-Making” Lines, Folds +!Creases that Likely Occurred During the Shaping-Process.
I Have Not Found any Visible “Hall-Marks” or Silver-Smith Identifying Marks or Signatures anywhere on the Surface of the Spoon.
Judging from the Appearance of the Handle, I am guessing that this Example May Be from the American Colonial-Era, Dating to Before the 1770’s.
CONDITION: The Utensil is in “Very Nice”, Original, Antique “Estate-Attained” Condition w/ Some Visible “In-Manufacture” Hand-Tooling Dents and Creases. There is Naturally Present “Age-Toning” and Some Light Wear or Indications of Minimal Usage + Handling but there are NO “FORMS OF DAMAGE” ~ Very Fine Antique + Very Nice (!!!!!)
