MINERAL DESCRIPTION
Clinozoisite is a complex calcium aluminium sorosilicate mineral with formula: Ca2Al3(Si2O7)(SiO4)O(OH). It forms a continuous solid solution series with epidote by substitution of iron(III) in the aluminium (m3 site) and is also called aluminium epidote.
It was originally discovered in 1896 in East Tyrol, Austria, and is so-named because of its resemblance to zoisite and its monoclinic crystal structure.
Albite is a plagioclase feldspar mineral. It is the sodium endmember of the plagioclase solid solution series. It represents a plagioclase with less than 10% anorthite content. The pure albite endmember has the formula NaAlSi3O8. It is a tectosilicate. Its color is usually pure white, hence its name from Latin, albus. It is a common constituent in felsic rocks. Albite crystallizes with triclinic pinacoidal forms.
HEALING PROPERTIES
Clinozoisite works primarily with the Solar Plexus and Heart Chakras, enhancing emotional clarity, support, bonding, nurturing and loyalty. The crtystal helps to ease the pain of a broken heart (heartache). It allows clarity and understanding. Clinozoisite is an agent of transformation. Like its formation under extreme pressure and trying conditions, it represents how beauty can come out of difficulty. It beholds an inspiring message to keep close as you navigate life’s ups and downs.
Albite is purifying to the auras and effective in healing or used in therapy rooms to stabilize healing energy fields to absorb and process healing release during healing sessions. Albite belongs to the Plagioclase Feldspar group, an isomorphous solid solution.
Kidz Rocks is not just another reseller. We are active miners with about 20 of our products hand mined by the owner Alan and his grandson. As amateur geologists, miners and avid collectors, we know rocks and if it is not a specimen we would put in our own collection, we don't ship it to you!
We deliver such large size rocks at so much lower prices than the competition because we buy our rocks directly from the mines which cuts out all the middlemen and significantly lowers our acquisition costs.
