Auto socks for 18 wheelers are faster , lighter, and you can even wash them after each use. They are accepted in all the states that require chains. One trucks needs 4 bags for maximum chain requirements in California! Each bag sells for 280.00 plus tax in the truck stops that sell them! It takes 5 minutes or less to put them on vs 2 to 3 hours for chains! It is the best investment that I ever made in my trucking career! I am selling them because I am finished with my 45 years of driving OTR.
I always dreaded chaining before I started using auto socks. People that see you use them are always impressed! Be safe out there!
