Authentic WWII Allied Propaganda Leaflet ZG119 w/ Official English Translation For Sale

For sale is a very rare combination of a leaflet and its official government translation. The leaflet was produced and dispersed by the Allied Forces, specifically the Psychological Warfare Division (PWD) of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF). The Code (ZG 119): The "ZG" prefix stands for Zentral-Gruppe (Central Group). These leaflets were drafted and printed in Great Britain under a joint Anglo-American operation and were designed to be dropped over Germany and German-occupied territories in Western Europe late in the war (late 1944 to 1945).

Delivery Method: These flyers were packed into specialized "leaflet bombs" (such as the Monroe bomb) or dropped via flare canisters by Allied aircraft (Royal Air Force and US Army Air Forces) over German troops and civilian hubs.

The translation sheets were printed in strictly limited quantities for internal use by Allied military intelligence, commanders, and record-keepers at SHAEF. They were used to evaluate text efficacy before printing or to document exactly what was being dropped over enemy territory. Because they were treated as internal paperwork rather than tactical field gear, the vast majority were either destroyed after the war or packed away directly into government, university, or museum archive files (such as those at the National Archives or the Imperial War Museum).

Will combine shipping with other leaflets if ordered at the same time.
