Up for sale is an awesome sign with true railroad pedigree. This is a heavy, industrial metal number plate from Union Pacific Unit #18339.

This 5-digit plate is a rare find. While many diesel plates are 3 or 4 digits, this 18000-series plate carries the heavy industrial weight and layered paint history of a specific era in Union Pacific\'s renumbering history. You can see the distinct \"Armour Yellow\" and red paint layers buried under decades of hard-earned track patina.

Locomotive History: Authentic Union Pacific renumbered series plate.

Condition: Honest, \"as-found\" condition. It features heavy surface oxidation, pitting, and multiple layers of historical paint. I have not attempted to restore or repaint this; it is a true survivor.

Mounting: Features original mounting holes. A massive statement piece for any train room, office, or shop.
