Antique W.T.&S William Tonks & Sons English Brass Card Receiving Footed Tray For Sale

This is an antique Victorian brass tray made by William Tonks & Sons (often marked as WT&S or WTSS), a brass founder based in Birmingham, England. The “WTSS” stamp is their maker’s mark, and “Rd 71185” refers to the British registered design number for this pattern, which dates it to around 1887. It’s a decorative item, likely used as a small serving tray, card receiver, or trinket dish, featuring ornate scrollwork borders and a central “sunshine” or sunburst motif.

These trays were popular in the late 19th century for home decor and are collectible today.
