Antique Simplex Time Recorder Clock - ORIGINAL - RARE *NEEDS SERVICE* For Sale

Up for sale is an original Antique Simplex Time Recorder Clock housed in its original oak wall cabinet. This is an original mechanical unit and has not been converted to quartz or electric operation. The original pendulum, mechanical movement, recorder mechanism, and interior service tag are all present.

I performed basic testing only. The clock starts, ticks with a steady pendulum beat, and the hands advance as expected. During testing, the movement runs for a few minutes before gradually stopping. Due to its age and the fact that it has likely been sitting unused for many years, it will likely benefit from routine servicing, such as cleaning, fresh clock oil/lubrication, adjustment, or setup to achieve reliable continuous operation. I have not attempted any repairs or modifications.

It could just need to be set up correctly i am not an expert but it’s in amazing condition for its age!
