Antique Naughty Pocket Mirror Lot (3) Risque Novelty Comic Humor 1920s,: $85.00
Up for sale is a fantastic lot of three authentic vintage pre-WWII risque and naughty novelty pocket mirrors dating from approximately the 1910s to the 1930s. These antique vanity novelties feature humorous, cheeky comic illustrations on the front panels and glass mirrors on the reverse side. The lot includes the popular captions "I Could Have Sweared I Saw a Torpedo" featuring a bather in a tub, "Oh, Clarence Be Careful, Mother Might Come In" featuring a young couple, and "The Only Way to Make Money Following the Ponies" featuring a street sweeper. In terms of condition, the front graphics are in good vintage shape with some expected minor age toning, foxing, and slight surface wear as shown in the photos. The mirror sides remain completely intact with some typical silvering loss, cloudiness, and vintage spotting consistent with pieces that are roughly a century old. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully as they serve as the primary description of the condition and visual details of these items. This rare lot will be packaged very securely and shipped promptly with tracking included.
