Small carved cross made of a pale bone-like material, with an unusual cylindrical carved holder/support.

The cross features intricate geometric and concentric-circle decoration. The central upper section contains a small optical lens through which a miniature image of the Garden of Gethsemane can be viewed. This unusual feature is consistent with devotional souvenirs associated with Christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

The cross is removable from the cylindrical lower section and fits into the top opening.
