Antique El Camino Real Mission Bell guidepost souvenir by Forbes, modeled after the iconic bell markers placed along California’s historic El Camino Real, or “The King’s Highway.” A wonderful early California history collectible with an attractive dark, naturally aged surface and areas of green verdigris.

• Base approx. 2 1/2” diameter

• Bronze/bronze-tone metal construction

• Original bell and clapper present

• Miniature version of California’s historic Mission Bell highway markers

Condition:

Very good antique condition with a beautiful dark aged surface and areas of naturally developed green verdigris/patina. The sign has heavier oxidation and its lettering is considerably less distinct than on some examples, but remains visible upon close inspection. Expected surface wear, oxidation and discoloration throughout from age. The piece has not been polished or aggressively cleaned, preserving its original aged character. Please review all photos closely for exact condition and markings.
