Antique English Style Art Glass Candlestick Hand Painted Enamel Floral C1900 For Sale

An elegant and unusual decorative art glass chamber candlestick featuring a striking architectural design, clear pressed-glass construction, and beautifully executed hand-painted floral enamel decoration.

The candlestick features a substantial hexagonal base, faceted central column, distinctive angular carrying handle, and elevated candle socket. Three hexagonal sections are embellished with rich black enamel, delicate gold gilding, and colorful botanical motifs featuring pink and yellow roses, blue blossoms, and green foliage.

The elaborate floral decoration closely resembles English enameled art glass produced during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, particularly the early 20th century. A related English art glass compote featuring similar black enamel, hand-painted roses, and gilded detailing is documented on Chairish, supporting the stylistic comparison.
