Antique D.M. Lyon & Clearman Carpenter’s Spirit Level Cincinnati OH c.1856-1858 For Sale

Offered here is an original rare mid-19th century wooden carpenter’s spirit level clearly stamped D.M. Lyon & Clearman, a short-lived precision instrument partnership operating in Cincinnati, Ohio for a brief period around 1856–1858.

This example measures approximately 30 inches in length and features a hardwood beam with original patina, along with a brass center plate housing the level vial.
