Antique 1914 German Religious Wall Plaque Revelation 2:10 Folk Art Biblical For Sale

Beautiful early 20th-century German religious wall plaque featuring a pastoral landscape surrounded by pink floral decoration and the German Bible verse:
“Sei getreu bis an den Tod, so will Ich dir die Krone des Lebens geben.”
Offb. 2,10
Translation:
“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” — Revelation 2:10
The reverse makes this piece particularly special. It contains a handwritten dedication dated April 3, 1914, addressed to Vanna, followed by another Biblical passage:
“Bleibe fromm und halte Dich recht, denn solchem wird es zuletzt wohlgehen.”
This corresponds to Psalm 37:37 and can be translated approximately as:
“Remain faithful and live rightly, for in the end it will go well.”
The inscription concludes “Dein treuer Vetter” (“Your faithful cousin”) and is signed August, followed by a surname that is difficult to decipher.
The dated inscription provides a wonderful piece of personal history and confirms that the plaque was already in use by April 1914, just months before the beginning of World War I.
The front features an embossed dark green architectural-style border, applied/raised lettering, floral decoration and an oval pastoral scene. Original cord hanger remains attached.
Condition: Antique condition with considerable age-related wear, particularly around the edges and corners. There are chips, losses, scuffs and surface wear consistent with a piece more than 110 years old. The front image and lettering remain remarkably attractive and readable. The reverse shows age toning and wear, with the original handwritten inscription still legible. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
A wonderful piece of German-American/German Christian folk art, religious ephemera, family history and early 20th-century devotional decor.
