This pre-owned item is a beautifully crafted porcelain figurine depicting a cockatiel bird. Hand painted in a matte finish; this vintage piece was manufactured in Japan in 1982.
Standing at 8.5 inches tall and looking so elegant, making it a desirable collectible for bird enthusiasts or animal lovers from the 1980s era.
Very good condition, but the tip of the head feather in the back is nicked off but could be painted where the white tip shows.
Not sure the wooden base, which looks like something was original glued to it, was part of the original figurine, but cockatiel looks good on it.
Being sold \"as is\" condition.
