Here is the travel diary of Mr. H. Halowell and his trip to Europe sometime in the 1930\'s. The diary is written using a commercially produced pocket book called \"A Record of my Tour Abroad\" sold by The Standard Diary Company. The copyright on the book is 1927. There are many dates in the writing, but no mention of the year. One of the people he met on the ship has a note by his name that says Yale \'33 so I\'m guessing this is from the 30\'s. The book itself included many many pages of how to prepare for your trip, how to pack, how much to tip, passport details, lots of useful information. Some of his writing is in pencil, some you can tell was a fountain pen. There are 37 written pages. The cover is rough, it\'s embossed on the front with his initials. The back is pretty bad. Measures 6-3/4\" x 4\"
