Patented onSeptember 14, 1875, this architectural masterpiece was originally produced as a high-end souvenir commemorating the landmark1876 American Centennial Expositionheld in Philadelphia.This is the highly covetedlarge-scale versionof the bank, capturing Independence Hall with fantastic casting precision. The side pediments feature proud, embossed, raised-letter historic legends:
