Set 5 1890s Moriage Ind. Nut Cups 3 Footed Scalloped Raised Dots HEAVY GOLD VG.This listing is for 5 exquisite antique individual nut cups. Their only mark is incised into the in the bottom l 302. After researching I believe these nut cups were made about 1880 -1890 possibly by Morimura Brothers. Each cup has 3 delicate decorated feet, accented in gold. The body of the nut cup is scalloped from the edge to the center. Each cup is hand decorated. There are 3 gold lines that are encrusted with raised dots. In addition to the lines, there is a leaf-like design. All the patterns have heavy gilding called "Moriage". Each cup measures about 3 1/8 inches in diameter and is about 1 1/8 inches tall.Their condition is very good with no chips or cracks and only very minor paint wear.
