Antique Cast Iron Mercantile Receipt Spikes / Bill Spindles (3-Piece Lot)
Authentic Turn-of-the-Century General Store & Office Primitive Desk Decor
This listing is for a curated collection of three (3) distinct antique cast iron receipt spikes (also known as memo spindles or paper spikes), dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Before modern digital systems, these heavy metal tools sat on general store counters, hotel front desks, and livery stables to securely hold receipts, order slips, and invoices.
This lot offers an excellent variety of shapes, including a premium wall-hanging Victorian model and two unique freestanding counter-top bases. They make fantastic display pieces for Early Americana collections, industrial office setups, or rustic farmhouse decor.

Circular Wheel Base - A classic openwork wheel design showcasing a wonderful, historic green verdigris painted finish.
